Charles Dodd White has a story in Fried Chicken and Coffee

Charles Dodd White, a writer you may remember reading about here not long ago, has a new story called “Give Up and Go Home, Jasper” featured at Fried Chicken and Coffee.
This is a dark tale, but as with so much of his work, it’s is also sad and funny at the same time. Personally, I’m still having a hard time deciding which of the two names I like better, the story’s or the magazine’s.
Charles teaches writing and literature at South College in Asheville, North Carolina, and his novel Lambs of Men, a story of a Marine Corps veteran of World War I in Western North Carolina, will be published by Casperian Books in Fall 2010. He’s currently at work on another novel and a collection of short stories.
J.G. Walker is a writer, editor, and writing coach who lives with his wife in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
His fiction and nonfiction have been featured in such publications as Oracle Fine Arts Review, Lullwater Review, and Aoife’s Kiss. Additionally, he has written articles on such topics as literature, music, film, and aviation.
