J.G. Walker is a writer, editor, musician, and writing coach who lives with his wife in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After completing a master’s degree in English at the University of South Alabama, he earned an MFA in writing at Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky. His fiction and nonfiction have been featured in such publications as Oracle Fine Arts Review, Lullwater Review, and Aoife’s Kiss. Additionally, he has written articles on such topics as literature, music, film, and aviation.

As a writing coach and founder of Book Dreams, Lisa Groen Braner helps aspiring nonfiction authors get their work into the hands of agents and publishers. Lisa has worked as managing editor of an international magazine and several newsletters, and has published articles on motherhood, parenting, and health.

In 2009, she received her MFA degree in writing from Spalding University, studying fiction and creative nonfiction. At Spalding, she served as a student editor of The Louisville Review. In addition to her first book—The Mother’s Book of Well-Being—Lisa’s writing has been featured on public radio, literary and popular magazines, and in the anthology The Fourth Genre.

Born in Rapid City, SD, Michelle Ladner is the daughter of a Thai immigrant and was raised an Air Force brat. She graduated in 2009 Magna Cum Laude with departmental honors from the University of South Alabama, obtaining a BA in English with an emphasis in creative writing. She was the fiction editor and editor in chief of Oracle Fine Arts Review in 2008 and 2009, respectively, and completed an honors thesis pertaining to subjects in African American literature. Since then, she’s been fine tuning her craft in South Mississippi and enjoys the time at home with her husband and three spoiled cats.
